What information do we collect? How do we use it?
When you order using a credit card, we need to know your name, e-mail address, mailing address, credit card number, and expiration date. This allows us to process and fulfill your order and to notify you of your order status.

Warrantied and "As Is" Products
Every LEI Sales product is either offered with optional warranty coverage or classified "As Is." Items classified "As Is" are generally offered at extremely low prices and are not covered by the 14 day Money Back Guarantee.
14 Day Money Back Guarantee
We guarantee that all items shipped by LEI Sales and will operate as indicated upon delivery and for the first 14 days following delivery. Your responsibility is only for freight charges, consumables, any damage while in your possession, and installation charges (if any). Typically manufacturers require a 25% restocking fee after the unit is shipped. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Guarantees are subject to the corresponding manufacturer’s terms.
All Quotes Conditional Upon Prior Sale
All sales are made on a first-come, first-served basis. We will inform you of the interest level in a piece of equipment. We cannot hold items for customers without receipt of Purchase Order and/or payment. Some of our products are new. In many cases these products are manufactured upon order and/or shipped from overseas. No new items will be held for customers without a Purchase Order and down payment.
LEI Sales requires 100% Pre-payment for all customers [exceptions may apply]. We accept company checks, all major credit cards [Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and AMEX], PayPal [plus 3% fee], and Wire Transfers [Plus $50 fee] for customers in the U.S, U.S territories, Canada, and the U.K. For international purchases we require payment by wire transfer. For schools, colleges, universities, government agencies, and non-profit organizations we accept Purchase Orders (Net 30 terms). Please contact us at 240-324-7970 to make payment arrangements.
We try to be fair and accurate with all product descriptions. Please read each description carefully. We do not offer refunds on any item unless is grossly misrepresented. If a refund is given it will only be for the cost of the item less a 25% restocking fee, if applicable. Shipping and Handling is nonrefundable. Restocking and other fees may be charged. If there is a problem, we can work together to resolve the problem. LEI Sales prides ourselves on being extremely fair and we always try to work with reasonable customers. We will make every attempt possible to resolve an issue if we made a mistake. Please do not assume a mistake is intentional. Let us know if our service could be better. In the event that a product needs to be returned for any reason, return cannot occur without LEI Sales' approval and a LEI Sales' return material authorization form (RMA) or a returned material authorization number. Return of said items MUST occur in the original packaging.
Order Cancellation Policy
Cancelled orders prior to shipping will result in a 100% refund unless items, supplies, accessories, or outside service have been purchased or conducted. If items, supplies, and/or accessories were purchased for the order, then the customer is responsible for purchasing these items. If manufacturing of a product has begun, then the customer will be responsible for paying any associated costs. If an order is cancelled after an item or items are shipped for any reason other than the item(s) are defective, then the order is subject to up to twenty five (25) percent restocking charge and all shipping charges incurred (outbound and return to LEI Sales facility). Return must occur within 14 days of receipt by buyer with accompanying RMA affixed to original packaging. After 14 days the item(s) is/are not returnable. Items sent back 'blind' without accompanying RMA will be rejected and will be returned.
Items subject to warranty repair or Items sent back in sub-standard packaging or received damaged will be reviewed and any damages will be charged to the customer or deducted from any applicable refund. LEI Sales is not responsible for customer packaging negligence or carrier inflicted damage for any returned item. Customer will be billed for repair of item(s) damaged during return. Any applicable sales taxes, tariffs, or fees are not included in this pricing and shall be charged in addition to named prices if applicable. 'Net' payment terms commence the day the item(s) are delivered.
LEI Sales will either prepay-and-add (PPA) to your invoice or we use your logistics company (using your account number or your credit card payment). You can also decide if you want to purchase loss/damage insurance. Should damage or loss occur during transport, it is the responsibility of the buyer and the transportation company to settle any dispute. LEI Sales will co-operate with you and the carrier to the best of our ability.
You may select your own carrier. If you do not specify shipping/carrier arrangements LEI Sales will select a reputable carrier for you. LEI Sales ships FOB (Freight on Board) origin. FOB origin means the responsibility of seller stops when the 'goods' are delivered to the transporting company at or from our shipping point, warehouse, or service center.
We ship products that have a shipping weight of 150 pounds or less almost entirely via United Parcel Service (UPS). We sometimes use FedEx and the United States Postal Service (USPS).
All orders are subject to manufacturers lead times. Shipment lead times vary by product line and manufacturer. We try to ship most smaller in stock items in 2-5 business days from acceptance of order/payment. However, due to large order volumes, weather conditions or circumstances beyond our control, we will ship your order out as soon as possible.
For items that are shipped from the manufacturer or require additional freight charges due to size, weight or hazardous freight conditions, the above small parcel options will not be available to you and you will be notified that a Common Carrier Shipment or alternative method of shipping will be required and the additional freight charges you may be required to pay. Additional shipping charges will not appear during checkout. If your order requires any additional shipping charges, you will be notified for approval before your order ships.
Merchandise that is drop shipped from a manufacturer or shipped from any of our other facilities may require an extended lead time. We will make every effort to notify you of this via phone or email prior to shipment.
For those items that require truck deliveries, you will be notified for approval before your order ships. Please be advised that truck shipments are "Tailgate" shipments to a loading dock and not generally ground or inside deliveries. Drivers will not take a large carton, crate or package to upper floor locations without additional compensation. You will need to notify LEI Sales if you require special consideration for your delivery so we can then relay that information on to the trucking company before shipping.
International shipments require special handling. Notify LEI Sales if you need to ship internationally (includes Canada and Mexico). Document preparation fees will apply.
