Hot Plates
Also known as heating plates, hot plates are used to heat solid or liquid contents present in glassware. Lab personnel use these plates when they have to heat solutions to 100 degrees Celsius or above. In comparison to Bunsen burners, hot plates are considered a lot safer. These plates can also be used to prevent overheating and separation of solutions through a magnetic stirrer.
Microscopes
You would rarely find a lab that does not have a microscope. Apart from being an important piece of equipment, it also one of the most basic lab equipment that is used for a variety of purposes such as visualizing cells and microorganisms and readying cell and fluid samples for visualization. It is also employed for mixing different types of chemicals and anatomizing microscopic specimens. There are different types of microscopes available in the market based on what interacts with the specimen to produce the image.

Beakers
Another critical equipment that is required in most labs is beakers. Although an essential piece of lab equipment, keep in mind that they are used only for estimation purposes as they aren’t really precise.
